Second work day at Faro del Este

Excellent devotions and breakfast before starting our second work day. Ibuprofen and a good night's sleep had everyone ready to go. We started the work day with a ceremony placing shells inside one of the walls we were building, which related to yesterday's devotion about recognizing our own brokenness and the brokenness of others and God's love for all of us. We are all just empty shells unless we are filled by the Holy Spirit. We had some wonderful pictures of the ceremony, but due to a technology lapse, they have disappeared and are not even in the cloud.

The painting project doubled its crew.

Pastor Jorge joined us and smashed the floor behind the altar while the paint crew tried to focus on painting. We had a great picture of Pastor Jorge falling thru the floor, but we lost that one also. He was not injured nor lost in hole - see picture of the pit which was completed after the fall.

The stucco and wall building crews also made good progress

Delicious lunch and snacks.

Our last crew member, Duane Kirking, showed up today so we are now complete for this week.

Good night to all from Costa Rica!
